Our Practice Nurse runs nurse led diabetic clinics and reviews. We also have a visiting diabetes specialist nurse.
Child Health and Immunisations
There are regular vaccination clinics. You will be advised via your GP, nurse or health visitor.
Cervical Smears
It is important for all women aged between 25 and 65 to have a cervical smear test every 3 years. Appointments can be made with the practice nurses.
Carer Services
It is helpful to know if you have a Carer (someone who takes on an unpaid caring role) or if you are a Carer for someone else. We have a page dedicated to Carers where you can also register with us as a carer so we can provide you with additional support.
Asthma
All asthma patients should have an annual check with their GP or with one of specially trained nurses. We also run regular asthma clinics.
Antenatal
If you find you are pregnant, please go to Peterborough City Hospital website and click on ‘maternity’. This will give you a self-referral form, once submitted you will be contacted direct by the midwife to arrange your initial booking appointment. Thereafter, regular clinics are held by our midwives. You do not need to see a GP in the first instance unless you have concerns or worries.

Immunisation and Vaccination Schedule
The NHS Vaccination Schedule
Checklist of the vaccines that are routinely offered to everyone in the UK on the NHS, including the ages at which they should ideally be given is available on the NHS website.
If you’re not sure whether you or your child have had all your routine vaccinations, ask your GP or practice nurse to find out for you. It may be possible to ‘catch up’ later in life.
Try to make sure you or your child have vaccinations delivered on time to ensure protection against serious communicable diseases.
If you’re going to be away from the GP surgery when a vaccination is due, talk to your doctor. It may be possible to arrange for vaccination at a different location.
