Here is a list of services and activities that are currently available (subject to change)

Activities for wellbeing as we get older.

1 – connect with others: –

The Biscuit Tin – Mondays from 10am – 12pm at Nassington Village Hall;

Village Coffee Morning co-run with Mind – Tuesdays from 10.30am – 12pm at Kings Cliffe Active;

2 – be physically active: –

Falls Prevention class (strength and balance) – Mondays from 10am – 11am at Christie Hall, Wansford;

Falls Prevention class (strength and balance) – Wednesdays from 11am – 11.30am and 11.30am – 12pm at Kings Cliffe Active. Tea/coffee and a baked potato available in the community café afterwards;

Get Active Plus (introduction to exercise) – Tuesdays 6.30pm – 7.15pm; Wednesday 9am – 10am at Kings Cliffe Active;

The Jungle Body class (low impact, light cardio dance based) – Wednesdays 2.15pm – 3pm at Nassington Village Hall;

Mat based pilates – Mondays 6pm, Wednesday 12.30pm, Thursday 6pm at Christie Hall, Wansford;

Chairobics online – Tuesdays 4.30pm;

Taiji and Qigong  at Nassington Village Hall (helps with balance, leg strength, coordination and much more). Suitable for all ages and abilities and can be done standing or seated.  Mondays 2pm and Thursdays 7pm

‘Move it or Lose it’ – Stamford and South Lincolnshire villages, e.g Essendine and Bourne.

Healthy Walks – Kings Cliffe Working Me’s Club meet at 11am on Tuesdays;

Barnwell Country Parks in Oundle meet at 1.30pm on Wednesdays;

The Black Horse in Nassington meet at 11am on Fridays.

Activity on Referral options: –

Active Performance at Kings Cliffe Active

3 months – Option 1 – £15 joining fee and £25 per month; Option 2 – £75 up front.

Oundle Sports Centre, Oundle School in Oundle.

3 months – £20 assessment and joining fee then £3 per swim or use of fitness suite.

Premier Fitness Vivacity at Hampton, Peterborough.

6 months – £35 per month.

3 – learn a new skill: –

Volunteer Action Crafting programme Mondays at 10am at Kings Cliffe Active

Home – Crafts| Activities| Events| Northamptonshire| Pink House Arts

Craft based workshops, classes, and events. Also gardening sessions and delivered activity bags.

 4 – give to others: –

Good Neighbours

Various charity shops in Oundle (Air Ambulance and Oxfam) and Stamford (Barnardo’s, BHF, Oxfam, Cancer Research and Age UK)

 5 – live in the moment (Mindfulness)

CPSL Mind in Peterborough organise a variety of activities in Peterborough and the surrounding area, from Good Mood cafes to meditation sessions.

You can also access for a small monthly fee







Your surgery has appointed a Social Prescribing Link Worker. This a specialist who can support you with issues that are affecting your health and wellbeing.
